Agriculture

Throughout the growing season the colour enhancement created by the crops is breathtaking. Consider the colouring of the following which in fields are dazzling. Often there is a sweet smell attached and to take a minute to reflect one is refreshed!

Wheat

Barley

Oil Rape Seed

Potatoes

Cabbages

Cauliflowers

Turnips

Strawberries

Raspberries

Black Berries

Carrots

Peas

The colours offered by these plants and blooms as well as fragrance offer joy and hope to the world after the severity of the winter months.

All things need water to grow and in our Highland fastness there developed interesting weather conditions which allowed our garden to become lush, however, I am sure that discussing the weather alone could take several volumes! Let us leave the weather with the sage again saying, “It is raining, or it has just rained, or it is about to rain!
