FLASH FROM THE CALEDONIAN MERCURY

SEPTEMBER, 1814

Last week, a party of Excise officers from Stirling, and another from Crieff, aided by a detachment of military, destroyed 22 illegal stills, with all their apparatus, in a glen in the parish of Comrie; and next day, 12 more were destroyed in an adjoining parish. Some of the stills were of a large size, and they were all in a working state.
